Intermediate Geoscientist

Are you interested in joining a dynamic team and becoming a key member of a growing engineering consulting firm with office locations throughout BC?

We complete projects in a large range of industries including forestry, mining, transportation, powerline corridors, independent power projects, and land development. Project teams typically include a range of professionals, professionals in training and technologists. We are seeking an intermediate level professional geoscientist or professional engineer to support project teams on terrain stability related projects.

Requirements

  • Registered or eligible for registration with EGBC as a professional geoscientist or professional engineer (geological or civil)
  • Experienced in terrain stability assessments for resource and land development, slope stability analysis, and landslide investigations
  • Minimum 5 years of professional work experience
  • Physically fit and comfortable with outdoor work in remote areas of BC

Ideal Candidates will also possess

  • Strong technical writing abilities
  • Strong interpersonal and team work skills
  • Ability to prioritize and self-manage

Salary to be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Positions are presently available in our Salmon Arm and Campbell River/Courtney offices. Some travel from these office locations will be expected.
